DJ AM real name , Adam Goldstein was found dead in his New York City apartment today. The cause of his death is unclear at the moment.
TMZ reported that his body was found at around 5 PM at his apartment in New York City — he was shirtless and wearing sweatpants. He was face down. Also A law enforcement source on scene told TMZ a glass “crack pipe” was found in his bedroom. The pill bottles were found in the kitchen.
DJ AM has been sober for nine years, lost hella weight, became one of the hottest club/event Dj’s in the world and dated few hot chicks. Life was good
But lately friends close to the celebrity Dj expressed concerns that he was having post-traumatic stress problems after surviving a horrific plane crash last September involving him and drummer Travis Barker. Sources also say that he was dealing with a recent devastating breakup with girlfriend Hayley Wood. Rumors are that the breakup and stress over the plane crash could have caused him to start using drugs again.

Yo! Rap and Metal don’t mix! Don’t get me wrong I did my share of head banging in the 80’s. Yes Me silky Johnson! That’s is how I learned to play guitar and bass. I learned all the basic, Ozzy the whole bark at the moon album, Ratt, Dio, Maiden, etc… All of the classics. I also did my share of b boying, battling at The Fresh Fest, Venice Beach, and all your favorite malls. But as a rule, you never mix your metal with your hip hop. Ok Aerosmith and Run DMC did it and it was cool; not a whole album just a song. Anthrax and Public Enemy did it and, once again it was cool. But like the saying goes, even a broken clock is right at least two times a day. When you mix metal and hip hop you are messing with a lethal mix and if you are not careful I can blow up in your face. And when I say “Blow UP” I don’t mean it in a good “hip hop” way but in a if Oboma Makes it to the White House, David Duke KKK kind of way. Peep out the video and tell us what you think.
